(A)Between 0830 a.m. to 1330 p.m. from Monday to Saturday (B)Sundays, second Saturday and holidays declared by Govt. of Himachal Pradesh the Academy is closed. While visiting us, the aspirants must bring their matriculation certificate,last examination passed certificate, NCC certificate.Those want accommodation in the hostel to bring their own bed sheets/pillows. Hostel facility is for boys only. The girls/boys trainees to bring their wards, father or mother at the time of admission. Drug addicts, those having tatoos on their bodies will not be admitted.
Training For Services Selection Board (SSB)
Academy will start training Boys and Girls for National Defence Academy (NDA) , Indian Military Academy (IMA), Officers Training Schools (OTS) and Army Cadet College (ACC). Short courses of three months duration will start from January 2022. Detailed programme and fee structure will be advertised soon.
The academy started its journey from a scratch and carried its forward march under the able leadership of Gen Bikram Singh, Brig JS Kanwar Col. DP Vashist, Col Kuldip Singh(VSM) and all other venerated veterans who relentlessly strived to bring the institute on to a firm platform. From the inception the academy strived for the upliftment of the young generation of the country, including those belonging to the state of Himachal Pradesh. Since the national interests are supreme along with the state's interests, it was imperative for the academy to chart out its course of action in line with this laudable concept. therefore, academy set out for itself an aim to find the ways and means, through which it could offer its services. The best was to target the unemployment, a seriously growing cause of unrest among our young population. The academy took upon itself an onerous task and gave a battle cry against the unemployment.
With this end in view the academy drew out its short and long term strategy. There were two important areas where immediate attention was to be focused: (a) Infrastructure (b) Strategy.
By the end of November, 2021 our trainees who entered different branches of Armed Forces, Para-Military Forces and Police Forces have gone up to 6805 (6633 Boys & 172 Girls). These are the figures of those trainees who have physically reported in the Academy before their departure to various training centres for training. There is a large number of those who never inform us due to lack of time when they are required to join at the earliest by completing formalities. Yet we are sure that many have not come back to us to inform. We on behalf of our Academy like to impress upon all the trainees and their parents and wards to please inform us about their induction in the Defence forces. We make this request with the idea that while preparing our Roll of Honour in the Academy, all of our selected trainees find their place on this Honour Roll which is published from time to time.
Following are the service that academy offers .
The day for trainees start at 8:00 AM with ground training under the strict supervision of physical instructor.the ground runs and physical fitness schedule are designed for boys and girls separately.Morning briefing ends with positive note at 9:30 AM
The teaching classes schedule begins at 10:00 AM sharp.more than 800 trainees attend the teaching classes.Highly calibrated Lessons/Lecture are delivered by very senior teachers of different subjects.
Some lecture in a month are also set apart for specialist who devote time for imparting soft shill to improve qualities of leadership, development of individual traits, etiquette and manner, creativity, inattentiveness and such other positive qualities essential for success in life
there is also a regular course on English grammar, English comprehension and communication skills to improve the level of quality in spoken English.the practical utility of good written and spoken English language cannot be underestimated in a competitive and global scenario.

We have a computer cell where computer classes are also run as per the needs of trainees.the academy assists the trainees to process their employment application,also help forward the online to the concerned quarters.
